Mid-atlantic Resiliency Link (MARL) Project
What is MARL?
The Mid-Atlantic Resiliency Link (MARL) is a proposed 500-kilovolt transmission line that would carry electricity from southwestern Pennsylvania through portions of West Virginia and Maryland to northern Virginia. Friends of the Cheat has created the following booklet to help local landowners understand how the proposed MARL project could affect their properties. Hard copies have been mailed directly to landowners with property affected by the proposed project.
