GENERAL NOTICE TO ENGINEERS
Friends of the Cheat (FOC) is accepting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from engineering firms interested in designing upcoming passive acid mine drainage (AMD) treatment projects in Preston County, West Virginia. Interested firms should submit one letter of interest and relevant supporting materials to:

Please include the following information: a list of personnel involved in designing passive AMD treatment projects with descriptions of their qualifications; experience with design-build projects, a list and description of passive AMD treatment projects designed in the last five years; a list of organization contacts to serve as references, including non-profit watershed organizations if possible; and, any other relevant performance data the firm chooses to include, such as a review of water quality data. The firms considered best qualified to design passive treatment of acid mine drainage will then be issued detailed requests for proposals.

The evaluation of submissions and the selection of any firm will be based on the materials contained within the RFQ.
